Nina Blum
Nina Blum (born September 5, 1973 in Vienna ; actually Nina Schüssel ) is an Austrian actress and director .
Life
The daughter of the former Austrian Chancellor Wolfgang Schüssel studied psychology in Vienna and Barcelona , but began an acting training at the Krauss drama school in Vienna during her studies , which she graduated in 2001. She also studied dance at Tanzforum Wien and took singing lessons from James Moore and Monika Ballwein .
She played in numerous theater and musical productions and most recently she was on television in " Dinner for Two " and " Zuckeroma " (Director: Xaver Schwarzenberger ), in "Feeling is Everything" (Director: Reinhard Schwabenitzky ) and in " Der Winzerkönig " ( Director: Holger Barthel ). In the 2005 movie "Welcome Home" (director: Andreas Gruber ) she played the friend of an African threatened with deportation. She made her debut as a director with “Princess Seeks Prince”, a fairy tale set in Thürnthal Castle . Since 2008, her children's theater festival is Märchensommer Lower Austria in Castle Poysbrunn listed.
In autumn 2011 she started her first cabaret program together with Martin Oberhauser in the Vienna Metropol under the title "Sex and Talking - Pleasure Couples with Singing". In 2012 it was shown on ORF as part of the Hyundai Cabaret Days . This was followed by the joint program Sleepless Nights , and in 2018 they premiered with the program Now or Never .
In February 2012 she got caught in a corruption affair when it became known that she, represented by members of the ÖVP, asked employees of the Austrian Telekom AG in spring 2007 for financial sponsorship for a theater project.
Her talk show "Sex & Reden" started on April 14, 2013 on Puls 4 .
In October 2014 it was announced that Nina Blum will succeed Alexander Waechter as director of the summer night comedy Rosenburg (previously known as Shakespeare on the Rosenburg ).
Nina Blum has been married since 2012 and has one daughter.
