Gen Seto

Gen Seto (born 1955 in Kanagawa Prefecture , Japan ) is a Japanese film and theater actor .

Life

Seto graduated from the Vienna Conservatory in 1989 . From 1994, the first smaller roles in cinema and television films followed. In 2001 he was seen in the film Her Majesty's Men . In the biopic Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose: The Forgotten Hero , he took on the role of the Japanese ambassador to Berlin during the Second World War, General Ōshima Hiroshi . In 2012 Seto appeared in Sushi in Suhl as Dr. Hayashi up. Since 2016 he can be heard in the radio play series Geisterjäger John Sinclair in the role of the opponent Shimada .

In addition to his mother tongue, Seto is also fluent in German, English and Italian. He lives in Vienna.
