So Gundula decides to go on this trip herself and, with her son Michel, joins the pastor, six other pilgrims and the bad-tempered bus driver Benno Fischer. She doesn't get along with Benno at all. During all the smaller and bigger mishaps on the trip, she got into arguments with him again and again. However, she also notices that she is gradually developing feelings for him.

Reviews

"Spirited, well-acted (television) comedy about an opposing couple who find each other in a roundabout way."

“Admittedly, director Jan Ruzicka [...] rather staged a Schmonzette. But good actors and their recognizable fun in the game (and in the singing) ensure good entertainment. The script was provided by Sophia Krapoth [...], based on which Ruzicka staged the comedy "Love like on the first day" in 2005. "

“For the harmless story, the main actors are half the battle. Friends of hymns will get their money's worth. Conclusion: good actors in a silly story "

“That the story works like clockwork is of course thanks to the author's many ideas. Tempo, acting and the precise staging of punch lines, however, are the merit of director Jan Růžička (most recently "Der Mauerschützen"), who once again succeeds in staging a supposedly predictable Friday story in "Das Erste". "

“But the way is the goal of this" pilgrimage to Padua ". The much invoked "Padua Principle" is not praying on site, but talking to one another, listening and taking your time. This is how this film works [...]. Speed is not data here, in case of doubt a Christian song is trilled (sometimes one too many!) And a point of rest is sought. [...] A sympathetic entertainment film. "
