Daniel Montoya (born March 4, 1978 in Munich ) is an actor , dubbing director, speaker and dialogue book author with Spanish roots.

Montoya was born and raised in Munich. His parents were Spanish guest workers. After graduating from high school, he studied acting at the Otto Falckenberg School from 1998 to 2002 . Engagements have taken him to various German-speaking theater stages such as B. the Bad Hersfeld Festival and the Schauspielhaus Essen.

In December 2006 he was in the production of Damned Long ago at the Renaissance Theater Berlin alongside Suzanne von Borsody and Victor Schefé . In May 2009 Daniel Montoya premiered alongside Gerit Kling in the boulevard play Shoppen im Theater am Kurfürstendamm in Berlin. Montoya regularly shoots for film and television.

He writes poems and theater texts. Some of them are regularly published on the YouTube channel “Poetry Schlemmerei”.

Since 2018 he has also worked as a dubbing director and dialog book author.

Montoya lives in Berlin .
