Power is an American television series that premiered on June 7, 2014. It was conceived by Courtney Kemp Agboh and is co-produced by rapper 50 Cent (Curtis James Jackson III), who has a leading role in the series.

The German-language synchronization of the series takes place at Scalamedia GmbH, Munich. Dialogue book was led by Alexander Brem , Heinz Burghardt and Matthias Kupfer for season 1, Matthias Lange , Robert Golling and again Matthias Kupfer for season 2.

The German start of the series was on July 20, 2015. Despite moderate ratings, the series was extended by the broadcaster for a second season. The broadcast premiere of the second season was on June 6, 2015. After the premiere of the second season saw an increase in viewers of over 200% compared to the first, the broadcaster decided to order a third season. Shortly after the first episode of the third season aired on July 17, 2016, the series was extended for two more seasons.
