Elizabeth Rodriguez (born December 27, 1980 in Manhattan , New York City , New York , United States ) is an American actress .

Life

Elizabeth Rodriguez was in New York district of Manhattan born and grew up there. She received her college degree from Lehman College in the Bronx . After graduating, she studied for two years at William Esper Studios in New York City.

After Rodriguez occurred since 1991 in movies and series, including New York Cops - NYPD Blue , Six Feet Under - Died always , The Shield - The Shield and Miami Vice , she had her first major role between 2008 and 2009 in the soap opera All My Children . Between 2011 and 2012 followed a supporting role in the series Prime Suspect on the side of Maria Bello . Since 2013 she can be seen as Aleida Diaz in the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black in a supporting role. She embodied other supporting roles from 2014 to 2015 in the series Power and Grimm . Since August 2015 she can be seen in The Walking Dead - Spin-off Fear the Walking Dead in her first leading role.
