Just Shoot Me was an American television series that was produced from 1997 to 2003.
action
Various characters work in the editorial team of the fictional fashion magazine Blush . On the one hand, there is Maya Gallo, who, as a feminist, is reluctant to work for her father's Jack Gallo fashion magazine, which is similar to Donald Trump . However, after she was fired as a news editor and threatened to evacuate her apartment, she had no choice but to seek help from her father. H. to ask for a job. But this step cost some effort, especially since her father is in a relationship with her hated classmate Allie. Since Jack is now becoming a father again, he offers his daughter the job of editor-in-chief to have more time for the offspring. Maya is now the boss of the overly sensitive photographer Elliot DiMauro, who is constantly involved in women’s stories, and the former model and now fashion editor Nina Van Horn, who has since devoted herself to alcohol and also indulges in frequent partner changes. There is also the unscrupulous secretary Dennis Finch.
In the first season, Maya's roommate Wally also played a bigger role in the series, but in the following seasons one concentrated on everyday life in the editorial office, so that there was no more room for this role.
