Sven Plate
Sven Plate (born August 1, 1966 in West Berlin ) is a German radio play and voice actor .
Life
Sven Plate has seldom been seen as an actor (e.g. as a child actor in the play Father of a Daughter alongside Georg Thomalla ), and he is known to a wide audience for his voice. With his soft, bright, youthful sounding voice, he has so far mainly synchronized teenagers and young men, including "Ken" in Captain Future , Kirk Cameron in Our Loud Home , Allelon Ruggiero in The Club of Dead Poets , Justin Henry in Kramer against Kramer , Wil Wheaton in Spaceship Enterprise - The Next Century and The Big Bang Theory , Charlie Schlatter in Diagnosis: Murder , Alan Cumming in Ernie and the Christmas Spirit, Jarrad Paul in Monk and, for some time now, the cartoon bunny Bugs Bunny . He also dubbed “Map” in the animated series Dora the Explorer .
Sven Plate appeared in the early 90s as a candidate in the game show Hopp or Top (then Tele 5 ). He also appeared in over 70 radio plays - as "Jay Lawrence" in Point Whitmark , "Jesus Navarro" in Jesus of Texas or as "Nick Twisp" in The Diaries of Nick Twisp . He is also a dubbing director, so u. a. in the television series Veronica Mars , Kick Buttowski - Nobody Can Do Everything , Moonlight , the animated series Totally Spies and the PC games Batman: Arkham Asylum and Halo-Reach . In addition, he can still be heard as a voice actor, u. a. as "Peck" in Barnyard , as "Leo Leo" in the KIKA production Oli's Welt or as "Gwizdo" in Dragon Hunters - Die Drachenjäger .
Since 2010 Sven Plate has also been the new voice of the main character from the commercials for “ Kinder Surprise ”.
His sister is the actress Christina Plate .
