Robert Fredrick Paulsen III (born March 11, 1956 in Detroit , Michigan ) is an American actor and voice actor . In addition to some well-known leading roles in well-known cartoon series, Paulsen has spoken in over 250 different cartoon characters and in over 1000 commercials in his career.

Life

In his career, Paulsen has voiced over 250 different animated characters and has appeared in over 1000 advertisements. In addition to countless smaller roles as a voice actor, Paulsen is known for the voices of many well-known cartoon heroes.

Paulsen gave his voice to two Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles : In the animated series Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles from 1987 to 1995 he spoke Raphael, in the 3D animation series of the same name he has spoken Donatello since 2012. In the cartoon series The Mask , he spoke Stanley Ipkiss, Saber Rider in Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs, Yakko Warner in Animaniacs , Pinky in Pinky and the Brain , KJ in Goofy and Max and Karl Keuchler in Jimmy Neutron . In twelve of the 13 cartoon films and the cartoon series of the same name In a Land Before Time , he spoke the dinosaur Spike.

For his role as Pinky, he received four nominations for an Annie Award , of which he won three, and three nominations for a Daytime Emmy Award , with which he was awarded once.

Paulsen is married to Parrish Todd, with whom he has a son.
