Tinker Bell is a computer-animated direct-to-DVD film by Disney from 2008. It tells the story of a fairy of the same name who lives in the fairy tale world of Peter Pan and does everything possible to ensure that her assigned existence is permitted and prohibited Means to change and reach the human world. The film tells of the childhood of the fairy Tinker Bell in the fairy village Pixie-Hollow. Tinker Bell dreams of leaving the village and seeing the world. When the fairies get ready for spring - they help to ring in the season - Tinker Bell also wants to travel from Neverland to the big wide world. But to do this, she first has to learn from her fairy friends. After all, she too can bring spring into the world with her skills.

The film was first released on October 28, 2008 on DVD and Blu-ray Disc . There are versions in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian and other languages. The German free TV premiere took place on November 14, 2008 on Super RTL .
