action

It's the last day of summer in the Hundred Acre Wood, but the last for Christopher Robin because he has to go to school from now on. However, he does not have the courage to say goodbye to his friends and therefore leaves a letter on a honey pot for Pooh, who cannot read it and is looking for Christopher Robin and finally all his friends notice that he is gone. When Owl read the letter, he thought he had read that the friends must be worried and that Christopher is far away. The inhabitants of the Hundred Acre Forest go in search of Christopher Robin, where they encounter many dangers and mysterious places along the way. In the end, Winnie the Pooh, Piglet and the others find out that Christopher Robin was only in school.

criticism

“Solid entertainment fun that builds on the attractive traction of its characters without being able to bring them to real life through their serial animation. A multitude of songs that bring the production close to a musical occasionally express an excess of kitsch. "

Awards

The film was nominated in five categories for the Annie Award in 1998 , but could not win a prize.
