It gets worse: the diabolical Sarousch kidnaps Zephyr, the son of Quasimodo's best friends Esmeralda and Phoebus. With many tricks and all their bravery, Quasimodo and his friends save La Fidele and the boy from the evil clutches of the circus director Sarousch. In the end, Quasimodo and Madellaine confess their love to each other as the bell rings.

Reviews

“Hugo's novel leaves the simple story behind, but also the formal virtuosity of its predecessor. Like the candy-colored pictures, the songs take getting used to. Acceptable as light, if uninspired entertainment for children. "
