action

The little orphan boy Tarzan is lovingly raised in the jungle by gorillas . However, due to his otherness, Tarzan is an outsider who spends most of his time with his friends, the gorilla girl Terk and the elephant boy Tantor. Due to the fact that the three friends repeatedly play pranks and often unintentionally wreak havoc, they (especially Tarzan) are viewed as troublemakers. But little Tarzan also has other problems: For example, he does not manage to move as fast and agile as his gorilla family and therefore always lags behind. Although he tries again and again, he still remains different from the gorillas. He firmly believes in being a gorilla himself. When the family looks for a new nesting site in the rain, Tarzan is lost. Although he catches up with his family later, he secretly hears how other gorillas call him a "nuisance" and "danger to the jungle" and apparently do not miss him. Only now does Tarzan realize that he's not a gorilla after all. Lonely and alone, Tarzan struggles through the jungle to finally find out what identity he has and what kind of being he is. In the jungle he runs into Kago and his evil family, who make fun of him because he claims he is a gorilla. Tarzan manages to escape Kago and his family and flees from the leopard Sabor up a mountain, where he meets Zugor, a harmless old gorilla who cynically tells him that he doesn't want anything from Tarzan. Tarzan asks Zugor to help him find out what kind of being he is. Annoyed, Zugor agrees, but has to admit that he has never seen or heard of a being like Tarzan. Sadly, Tarzan disappears again. A short time later, Kago and his family arrive again and tyrannize Zugor. Only now does Tarzan recognize his superiority as a human being over the gorillas and he defeats Kago and his family with his craftsmanship, being able to build weapons. Ultimately, Tarzan can save his adoptive family from Kago and he is from now on more respected by the gorillas than before. At the end of the film, Tarzan stands on a sequoia tree and lets out the typical Tarzan scream.
