TinkerBell and the Pirate Fairy is a computer-animated fantasy film by Disney that was released in German cinemas on June 12, 2014, directed by Peggy Holmes. The film is set again in Neverland, the world of Peter Pan . The talents of the six fairies the film is about are suddenly swapped and they get caught on an exciting hunt through the seas of Neverland.

action

The fairy shine administrator named Zarina steals the important fairy dust from the Valley of the Fairies and flies away to ally with the Skull Rock pirates, whose leader is Captain Hook . Tinkerbell and her friends must now bring the fairy dust back to its rightful place. But during their hunt for Zarina, their world is suddenly turned upside down, because Tinkerbell and her friends discover that their respective talents have been switched (see figures ).

Zarina (Feenglanzverwalterfee) lets herself be diverted from the right path by the blue fairy shine and its possibilities. When one of her experiments gets her into trouble, she escapes from the Valley of the Fairies and joins a gang of pirates.

James is a charming pirate with tons of tricks up his sleeve. After their escape from the Valley of the Fairies, he befriends Zarina. He and his shipmates recognize the potential of the little fairy and make her captain of the ship without further ado - but not entirely unselfishly.

Tinkerbell is an extremely loyal copper kettle fairy who is always there first when there are problems. In "Tinkerbell and the Pirate Fairy" Tink transforms (briefly) into a water fairy.

Rosetta , originally a garden fairy, suddenly has to find her way in a completely new area - namely as an animal fairy with a baby crocodile in tow.

Silberhauch , actually a water fairy, becomes a quick-as-the-lightning fairy thanks to Zarina during the course of the film.

As a quick-as-the-lightning fairy, Vidia usually doesn't catch up with anyone that quickly. Suddenly she is literally following in Tinkerbell's footsteps as the Kupferkesselfee.

Emily , the animal fairy, surprisingly becomes the light fairy.

Klara is transformed from a light fairy into a garden fairy.

Oppenheimer is the pirates' ship's cook. As the smallest pirate on board, he still has nothing to offer.

Bonito is a pirate who works alongside James and Zarina in the rigging. The giant Spaniard can throw a harpoon 100 meters and loves sewing. And not just the sails of the ship, but also delicate embroidery on the hems of the outfit of his tiny captain.

The baby crocodile Kroki has only one goal: to love and protect Mama Rosetta. Because she was the first one he saw after hatching from the egg.

The German Film and Media Assessment FBW has given the film the rating “particularly valuable”. From the jury's statement: “The jury rated the fact that all fairies were given a clearly contoured content profile as very successful, and there were slightly critical comments on the figurative design of this small ensemble. Despite all the drama of the plot, humor is not neglected - both in the dialogues and in the design of the event. When a one-eyed pirate 'should keep an eye on something' or a baby crocodile chases pirates, the viewer certainly cannot and should not remain serious. "
