Steve Valentine (born October 26, 1966 in Bishopbriggs , Scotland ) is a British actor , magician and author . Valentine was born in the role of Dr. Nigel Townsend in the crime series Crossing Jordan - a well-known pathologist .

Private

Steve Valentine was married to Shari Valentine from 1998 to 2005. Since 2010 he has been married to the Russian actress Inna Korobkina, with whom he has a daughter (* 2011).

Act

He played minor roles in films like Spider-Man 3 , Tim Burton's Mars Attacks! . Valentine appears in guest and minor supporting roles in television series such as Just Shoot Me - Redaktion durchgeknipst , Will & Grace , Dharma & Greg and Charmed - Magical Witches . From 2009 to 2011 he played the role of Derek Jupiter in the Disney XD series Tripp's rock band .

Even before his acting career, Valentine was a very successful magician. He has performed in Las Vegas and at Magic Castle in Hollywood, among others . He was also named Close Up Magician of the Year by Magic Castle for two years in a row . He has also published several DVDs on the subject of magic. During his guest appearances in the series Dr. House and Monk he also played a wizard.

In 2012, Steve Valentine published his first graphic novel, Crimeworld .
