Jungle Book Kids (also Disney's Dschungelbuch-Kids or Die Dschungelbuch-Kids ; English: Jungle Cubs ) is an American cartoon series by the Walt Disney Company from 1996 to 1997 with 21 episodes.
The characters in the series are based on those from the Disney film The Jungle Book from 1967, as it was made in a similar form for Captain Balu and his daring crew . Some of the episodes are based on stories from Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book , which were not used in the Disney film.
content
The young animals Balu, Baghira, Kaa, Hathi and Loui live together in the jungle . The friends meet every day to play in a dilapidated temple. The most important things for them are fun, friends, music and of course food. Every now and then the little tiger Shir Khan comes by to show them that he has a lot ahead of them all.
It always becomes difficult when the two vultures Arthur and Cecil try to lure the animal children into a trap or when Shir Khan has to prove again how brave he is.
