Carin Christina Tietze (born October 3, 1964 in Denver , Colorado ) is an American actress and voice actress who lives and works in Germany .

Live and act

Carin C. Tietze trained as an actor at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theater in New York City from 1985 to 1987 . She is married to the screenwriter and director Florian Richter and lives on Lake Starnberg .

On German television she was in many series a. a. Derrick , Der Bergdoktor , Our teacher Doctor Specht , Veterinarian Dr. Engel , SK Kölsch , Im Tal der Wild Rosen , Sperling , Der Bulle von Tölz , SOKO Munich , Der Winzerkönig , Der Alte , Tatort , Das Traumschiff , Hubert and Staller , heartbreaker - father of four sons , as well as in the film adaptations of Rosamunde Pilcher and to see Inga Lindström .

As voice actress she lends Juliette Binoche ( The English Patient ), Tilda Swinton ( The Chronicles of Narnia ), Linda Fiorentino ( Good Vibrations ), Andie MacDowell ( Muppets from Space ), Kari Wuhrer ( Vivid ), Helen Sjöholm ( As in Heaven ) , Helen Cutter ( Primeval - Return of the Primeval Monsters ), Paige Turco ( The Agency - In the crosshairs of the CIA ), Joan Cusack ( Toy Story 2 and 3 ) and Questular Rontok ( The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy ). In South Park she takes over the German voice of Sharon Marsh.

She also spoke to Sarah Hawkins in The Treasure Planet and Esmeralda in The Hunchback of Notre Dame .
