Melissa is looking forward to the camping trip with her father Neal. The bestselling author and inventor of the superhero "Tripp Zoome" would like to go to a Tripp-Zoome meeting beforehand. Shortly before they continue their journey, Neal is kidnapped by Wheeze, Andre and Sheldon, who emulate their role model "Tripp Zoome". Together with Merv, the owner of the hotel where Melissa and Neal live, Melissa can find her father again. Neal found the kidnapping fun and made friends with the kidnappers. Shortly thereafter, Melissa and her father are kidnapped by Maurice and Skunk, because Neal is supposed to write a book for Skunk. After Wheeze, Andre and Sheldon outsmart the kidnappers, Melissa and her father are held in the original hotel. There it becomes clear that the two work for Merv, who wants to expand his hotel with Neal's book for Skunk. But Neal's new friends tell everyone at the fan meeting and free Melissa and Neal together.
