Emily Jordan Osment (born March 10, 1992 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actress , singer and voice actress .

Life

Her father Michael Eugene Osment is an actor, her mother Theresa a teacher. Through her father and older brother, Haley Joel Osment , who was nominated for an Oscar in 1999 , she came into contact with acting at an early age. She grew up in La Cañada Flintridge near Los Angeles, where she went to school and continues to live. Emily Osment was raised a Roman Catholic.

Emily Osment has been seen repeatedly in private with Mike Sleath since early summer 2010. In late summer 2011, the relationship with the drummer of Jesse LaBelle's band became official via Twitter. Osment has been attending a California college since early September 2011 .

Career

Film / series

Emily Osment made her first appearance in the entertainment industry in 1998 in a commercial for the flower delivery company FTD . After the end of this engagement, she appeared in other commercials. She made her acting debut in the television film The Secret Life of Girls , with Eugene Levy and Linda Hamilton . In the same year she played with Glenn Close in Winter's End - Return of Love , for which she was honored with a Young Artist Award nomination. She also had episode roles in A Touch of Heaven , Friends and Behind the Moon, just left . In 2002, Emily Osment made her feature film debut as Gerti Giggles in Spy Kids 2 , which grossed $ 119 million worldwide, for which she received another Young Artist Award nomination for Best Performance in a Feature Film.
