The boy Kick Buttowski wants to become the most daring stuntman in the world, with his friend Gunther Magnuson helping him. Mostly he wants to do a stunt at the beginning of an episode, but it doesn't work. His enemies then laugh at him. Then he usually tries again, but then the stunt (mostly) works and he earns fame.
Characters
- Clarence "Kick" Buttowski
Kick is the main character and the daredevil of the street. He does cheerful stunts with his lucky skateboard "Blitz" and annoys a lot of neighbors with it. His idol is Billy Stumps, a monster truck driver. Jackie is in love with him, but not with her. He is in love with Kendall.
- Gunther Magnuson
Gunther is Kick's best friend and his stunt assistant. He always tries to become a real Viking like his father. He's in love with Jackie.
- Bradley "Brad" Buttowski
Brad is Kick's big brother. The two often quarrel and Kick is always house arrested for this. "Narrowbrain" is his nickname for Kick. However, it is not as popular with women as it would like it to be.
- Brianna Buttowski
Brianna is Kick's little sister. She doesn't particularly like kick and always spoils everything for him. She loves pink and is very fashion conscious.

Wade is a good friend of Kick and the owner of the local gas station "Food-N-Fix", which Kick often goes to and has a super drink.
- Kendall Perkins
Kendall is the geek in Kicks class and her father is the headmaster, which is why she always gets right when she gives Kick. It may seem like she hates Kick, but she's totally in love with him. This can be seen several times in the shared kisses in the series.
- Jackie
Jackie is totally in love with Kick, and is crazy about him and his stunts. Lots of kids think she's crazy, but she's actually a nice girl at heart. But Gunther is mostly ignored by her. She can't stand Kendall at all because she wants Kick to herself. She also has an extreme predilection for fish.

In the US, the series is shown regularly on Disney XD . Since 16 March 2010, it runs on the same TV channel in Germany and is also on the since 30 April 2011, free TV transmitter Super RTL to see. Super RTL omits the TV special Truth or Stuntman (Truth or Daredevil) .
