Klaus Allgayer (born May 11, 1978 in Oberstdorf ) is a former German ski jumper .

Career

Allgayer initially started for SC Oberstdorf . In his career as a ski jumper, he was twice Bavarian champion and third and sixth in the German championships. In the 1997/98 season he finished seventh overall in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup . In 1997 he took part in a World Cup competition for the first and only time in Oberstdorf on his home hill , but retired as 42nd after the first round. In 1999 he moved to the Swiss national team and now started for SC Einsiedeln . In 2001 he ended his career after a serious fall while ski flying in Oberstdorf.
