Robert Charles "Bobby" Edner (born October 5, 1988 in Downey , California ) is an American actor and singer.

Life

Edner was born to Jewish parents in Downey, California. His younger sister Ashley is also an actress.

He gained his first experience in the film industry at the age of four as a voice actor for the English version of the anime film Porco Rosso . This was followed by numerous guest appearances in television series such as Ellen , Profiler , For All Cases Amy or Veronica Mars . In 1999 he received the Young Artist Award for his guest appearance in A Strong Family . Since 1995 he has been increasingly active in advertising. He was u. a. seen in commercials for Intel , Alaska Airlines , Taco Bell and Nintendo DS .

Edners feature film debut was in 1999 in the film The Muse alongside Sharon Stone and Albert Brooks . In 2001 and 2002 he was nominated for the Young Artist Award for his roles in The Trial of Old Drum and The Day the World Ended . In the films Kill Smoochy , Kangaroo Jack , Agent Cody Banks and Big Fish , he was only involved in the synchronization and did not appear physically.

In 2006 he lent the character Vaan in the computer game Final Fantasy XII his voice.

In 2001 he danced in the music video for Smooth Criminal by Alien Ant Farm and in the same year in the video for Ain't it Funny by Jennifer Lopez . In 2003 he played a supporting role in Robert Rodriguez 's film Mission 3D . On the soundtrack for the film, he sings the song Heart Drive with Alexa Vega . In addition to acting, Edner has been active in the musical field since 2006 and was briefly a member of the pop group NLT , which he left after a short time. Since 2007 he has been a member of the boy band Varsity Fanclub . On May 1st 2011 the Varsity Fan Club announced that Bobby is no longer part of the band.
