Phill Lewis (born September 4, 1968 ) is an American actor and director , best known for his role as Mr. Moseby in the Disney series Hotel Zack & Cody .

Life

Lewis was the presenter of the Disney Channel Games 2007. He gained international fame from 2005 to 2007 in the US sitcom Hotel Zack & Cody in the role of Marion Moseby. He also played this role in the spin-off series Zack & Cody on board from 2008 to 2011.

He also made a few appearances on Friends and appeared four times as Hooch on the hospital comedy series Scrubs . Lewis also made three guest appearances on the US sitcom Lizzie McGuire and the comedy series Dharma and Greg .

Controversy

In December 1991, Lewis was arrested after he fatally struck a 21-year-old woman in Maryland in his car. Medical tests showed that his blood alcohol level was three times the legal level. He was then convicted of manslaughter and drinking and driving and was sentenced to five years in prison. The sentence was later revised to one year in prison, two years probation and 350 hours of community service.
