Man with a Plan is an American television series . The sitcom starring Matt LeBlanc and Liza Snyder has been in production since 2016.
In May 2020, CBS announced that it would end the series after the fourth season.

The building contractor Adam Burns is happily married to his wife Andi and they have three children. When Andi returns to work, Adam has to take on more household and upbringing responsibilities. However, this presents him with some problems.

On May 13, 2016, CBS announced the order for a 13-episode first season. The series premiered on October 24, 2016. In mid-November 2016, CBS ordered six more episodes for the first season after the series reached an average of 6.96 million viewers. At the beginning of January 2017, CBS extended the first season by a further three episodes to now 22, after the series increased to an average of 7.35 million viewers. In March 2017, CBS ordered a second season. The broadcast of the second season began on November 13, 2017. It should include a total of 21 episodes. On May 12, 2018, the series was extended by a third season, which has been running on CBS since February 4, 2019. In May 2019, CBS ordered a fourth season.
On June 6, 2017, ProSieben announced that the series would run on Saturday afternoon from June 17, 2017. The audience numbers were bad. Only 300,000 viewers saw the first episode in Germany when it was first broadcast, 170,000 of them in the advertising-relevant target group (5.4%). The second episode only saw 260,000 viewers (140,000, 4.3%).
reception
Daniel Fienberg wrote for the Hollywood Reporter that the series shows nothing new, but can still entertain. He praised the chemistry between LeBlanc and Snyder, but criticized the children's lack of commitment.
Ben Travers described the series as bad on IndieWire . Especially the figure of Lowell, a totally feminized househusband, is the worst thing about the show. He also criticized the lack of artistic value.
At Rotten Tomatoes , the series received a 21% rating based on 28 reviews.
