Liza Snyder

Liza Snyder (born March 20, 1968 in Northampton , Massachusetts ) is an American actress and film director .

Career

Snyder studied acting under Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theater .

Snyder had her breakthrough in the mid-1990s with the series Lady Cops . From 1998 to 2000 she played the best friend of Christina Applegate's character in Jesse . Subsequently, Snyder again received a leading role in the series. In Yes, Dear , she portrayed Christine Hughes in six seasons . With the actor of her series husband, Mike O'Malley , Snyder had a joint appearance in 2013 on the series Raising Hope . On August 1, 2016, it was announced that she was replacing Jenna Fischer as the female lead on the CBS sitcom Man with a Plan . Since then she has played the role of Andi Burns alongside Matt LeBlanc .
