Baby Looney Tunes is an American animated series .
action
The series revolves around the baby versions of the Looney Tunes characters. Even as babies they do a lot of nonsense, experience many adventures and learn new things. Grandma Granny takes care of them as a babysitter and lovingly explains the world to them.
Characters
- Baby Bugs - (voiced by Samuel Vincent ): He is considered the oldest of the babies, which makes him the official leader of the group. His leadership, however, tends to create tension, especially with Lola and Daffy.
- Baby Tweety - (voiced by Samuel Vincent ): Is the youngest and smallest of the gang. He is portrayed as the brainstormer because he has a lot of ideas. He is very sensitive to his small body and curious about what he encounters.
- Baby Daffy - (voiced by Samuel Vincent ): He's second in the lead after Bugs. Often he wants to assert his personal advantage. When he doesn't get what he wants, he believes he is being treated unfairly without questioning the things that are being done to others.
- Baby Lola - (voiced by Britt McKillip ): Sometimes she takes responsibility. Her independence is greater than that of the other girls and she has more boyish tendencies than the other girls.
- Baby Taz - (voiced by Ian James Corlett ): As much as Taz behaves well, he often confuses various objects with food and causes problems. He has a sense of fun that surpasses any other. He's also a naughty one and cries when something goes wrong or when he doesn't go the way he wants it to.
- Baby Sylvester - (voiced by Terry Klassen ): is the biggest baby (without bugs and Lola's ears). Sometimes he's shy and afraid he is an easy target for Daffy to fiddle with and trade with. It is rarely seen with its claws. He likes Grandma's attention more than the others. New Year's Eve is afraid of lightning and hates pickles.
- Baby Melissa - (voiced by Janyse Jaud ): She often stays with Petunia. She is very practical, creative and has a friendly personality. However, she sometimes becomes a control freak and annoys others.
- Baby Petunia - (voiced by Chiara Zanni ): She often clings to Melissa. She is more intelligent than the other babies, learns quickly and is very curious.
- Grandma - (voiced by June Foray ): She took care of the babies and gives them love. As the only adults in their lives, babies are fascinated and inspired by their intelligence, wisdom, and ability to overcome problems when they arise with ease.
- Floyd Minton - (voiced by Brian Drummond ): Is grandma's nephew. Sometimes he is overwhelmed by the responsibility he takes on for the babies, but still remains determined and never wants to let Grandma down. He often keeps an eye on one of the individual babies in each episode during season two.
Production and publication
The series was produced by Warner Bros. Entertainment until 2005. The music was composed by Steven Bernstein and Julie Bernstein .
It was first broadcast on September 7, 2002 on The WB . In German-speaking countries, the series was broadcast for the first time on October 5, 2005 on KiKA and the second season on September 7, 2008. Further broadcasts also took place on Boomerang . It can also be viewed via the video-on-demand provider Amazon Prime .
The series was released in 3 volumes on DVD . In addition, several characters have been given their own DVD. Several books have also appeared on the series.
