Laura San Giacomo (born November 14, 1962 in Hoboken , New Jersey ) is an American actress .

Life

The five-foot tall San Giacomo grew up in Denville, where she attended Morris Knolls High School. She became interested in acting at an early age and played the main role in several school plays. She then attended the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama. In 1990 she married the actor David Cameron Dye, with whom she has a son (* 1996) who suffers from infantile cerebral palsy . The couple divorced in 1998. Laura San Giacomo has been married to actor and producer Matt Adler since 2000.
