Angelika Bender

Angelika Bender-Willschrei (born February 22, 1948 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German actress , radio play and voice actor .

Life

Bender made her debut as an actress at the age of eight in the film Auf Wiedersehn am Bodensee . After taking ballet lessons, she went to the New Munich Drama School a . a. trained by Fritz Umgelter to become an actress. After that she appeared at various German theaters. Since 1960 she can be seen in numerous television productions. She was also heard as a speaker in a large number of radio plays .

As a dubbing actress, her voice was best known for Marcy Rhoades-D'Arcy in the series A Terribly Nice Family and Carla Tortelli in the series Cheers . After the death of Elisabeth Volkmann , she took over the voices of Patty , Jacqueline and Selma Bouvier in the series The Simpsons . In a few episodes, Bender can also be heard as Marge Simpson. These synchronizations came about between Elisabeth Volkmann's death and the takeover by Anke Engelke .

Angelika Bender was married to the screenwriter Karl-Heinz Willschrei for the second time .
