action

James Van Praagh ( Ted Danson ) has been seeing the ghosts of dead people since he was eight. Since that is not accepted by his environment and even his own father, he tries to get rid of them. He succeeds in doing this until his mother dies decades later. At the time his business wasn't doing well either and he hired web designer Midge ( Queen Latifah ). She tries to convince him that he can use his gift , whereupon he meets many ghosts. When he sees the deceased husband of a pensioner in the police station, he tells her what he wants to say to her. The old woman convinces the policewoman Condrin ( Mary Steenburgen ) to investigate and is able to solve the murder case with the help of James Van Praagh. A short time later, Van Praagh sees ghosts of children. They were killed or buried alive one after another over the course of several years. The first six children's bodies were buried in a circle. Eddie Katz, the seventh, is in the middle. Van Praagh had struck his mind as a child. He had died in a hunting accident 30 years earlier and was buried in the forest.

Reviews

The crime story does not appear in the autobiographical template. Despite the foreseeable end, it was staged so exciting that even the real James Van Praagh had no objections. He co-produced the TV film and made a guest appearance as an organist. "
