James Van Praagh

James Van Praagh (born August 23, 1958 in Bayside, Queens , New York ) is an American television producer and is a well-known medium . He was u. a. Writer of the television series Ghost Whisperer .

Life

James Van Praagh was born the youngest of four children. In keeping with his Catholic upbringing, he became an altar boy and entered a seminary at the age of fourteen . There, however, his interest in Catholicism ended and he turned to a non-denominational spirituality . He studied journalism at San Francisco State University . After graduation, he moved to Los Angeles , where he found increased access to esoteric and parapsychological circles.

There he took part in a meeting of a medium . This informed him that he would also soon be working as a medium. So he began to discover his sensitivity for the "spiritually spiritual", began to make readings for friends and, according to his statements, received messages from a world beyond. In esoteric- spiritualist circles, Van Praagh is considered to be one of the best media in the world.

Van Praagh attributes a "healthy skepticism" to himself about his work and skills. As a medium he is able to establish a connection between the physical and the spiritual world. Above all else, he transmits love and he can heal. In his view there is survival of human individuals after death and he wants evidence of this to be found.

From 2002 to 2003 he had a daily talk show in the US called Beyond With James Van Praagh. In the same year he produced the successful miniseries "Living with the Dead". In 2004 he did another project with CBS called "The Dead Will Tell". From 2005 to 2010 he produced the series " Ghost Whisperer ". Because of his many film and television contributions, James Van Praagh is one of the most famous media outlets worldwide.
