Normand Corbeil

Normand Corbeil (born April 6, 1956 in Montreal , † January 25, 2013 ) was a Canadian composer for film music .

Corbeil had been working as a composer for film music since the late 1980s. From 1995 to 2005 he worked on several projects with director Christian Duguay , starting with Screamers - Tödliche Schreie (1995), ending with Human Trafficking (2005).

Corbeil composed the music for the 2009 video game Heavy Rain . For this he was awarded the BAFTA Games Award in 2011. Before that, he set a video game to music with Fahrenheit in 2005. His last work was the soundtrack for the game Beyond: Two Souls .
