action

Teenage Sophie is sent to an education camp by her parents because of her alleged rebellious behavior. This is a boot camp on a remote island, where the youngsters are to be educated through hard drill and physical and psychological humiliation. Upon arrival at the camp, the youngsters are forced to tie ribbons with sensors around their ankles. If they try to escape, the alarm will go off immediately.

Dr. Hail, who runs the camp, forces the youth to work all the time. You have to clean plants and help rebuild the camp after it was damaged during a storm. The teenagers are forced to wear t-shirts. First, newcomers are given black t-shirts. The youngsters are given a white shirt once they have improved. Your work will be filmed. As soon as someone refuses to work, they are abused or have to do degrading work. Among the staff is Logan, an ex-soldier who also sexually abused inmate Trina.

Ben, Sophie's friend, lets himself be admitted to the camp so that he can be with her and free her if necessary. After a conflict with warehouse manager Dr. Hail, Sophie and Ben flee to a nearby island. However, they are caught again. One morning the young males have to go swimming. Danny, who cannot swim, is forced to run into the sea. When Ben tries to save him, it's already too late. An argument breaks out between Logan and Ben, as Logan denies that the tragedy was his fault.

The youth eventually start a riot and burn the camp down. Logan dies after driving a jeep into a burning building. Hail, who tries in vain to restore order, is captured by the youth.

When the film fades out, you see pictures of the young people celebrating their freedom and swimming in the sea. A message appears on the screen stating that over 40 deaths have occurred since the 1970s when this type of camp was introduced. The film is based on a true story.
