Heidrun "Heide" Bartholomäus (* 1957 in Schwerin ; née Timm ) is a German actress , voice actress , dialogue book author and dialogue director .

Life

Bartholomäus starred in films such as Vaterland (1992), Don't Regret (2001), (T) Raumschiff Surprise - Period 1 (2004) and Come Closer (2006). For her portrayal in Come closer she was awarded the Actor Award at the Copenhagen International Film Festival in 2006.

She had well-known roles as a voice actress, for example, as Ginger in Chicken Run and as Treeflower in the animated series The Beaver Brothers . Especially for the film Nell (1994) she dubbed the voice of the US actress Jodie Foster , as Nell Kellty, in her imaginary language, which other people cannot understand. The actress will otherwise be dubbed by the German actress Hansi Jochmann . She is also the German voice of British actress Emily Watson , who has played roles in such films as Breaking the Waves (1996), Punch-Drunk Love (2002), Back to Gaya (2004) and Corpse Bride (2005) .
