Gabriella Andreini (actually Gabriella Baistrocchi ; born April 16, 1938 in Naples ) is an Italian actress and voice actress .

Life

Andreini, daughter of a general, enrolled at the Accademia d'Arte Drammatica "Silvio D'Amico" after finishing school and graduated in 1956. First theater appearances followed, in which she was able to implement her youth and visual appearance (attractive appearance, lush forms) and experience (growing up in an environment with rigid moral concepts). Soon she was also receiving offers from television and movies. She only noticed the latter to a limited extent, as they offered her the role type that was mostly only related to her appearance, which she followed (also under the pseudonym Gaby B. Andrews ).

Between 1957 and 1959 she played roles on stage alongside Vittorio Gassman and Salvo Randone in Othello , alongside Alberto Lupo in Platonow , alongside Walter Chiari in the revue Io e la margherita and her greatest success as "Marcella" under Daniele D'Anza in Le ragazze bruciate verdi . Andreini made her television career much more intense. In addition to recordings of classical pieces by Eugene O'Neill and Iwan Sergejewitsch Turgenew , she was in television films a. a. by Mario Landi , Enrico Colosimo and Guglielmo Morandi . Numerous series also gave her the opportunity to make guest appearances, such as Maigret or Sheridan, squadra omicidi .

Andreini was also active as a voice actress and for the radio.
