Victoria Abril
Victoria Abril (born July 4, 1959 in Madrid ; actually Victoria Mérida Rojas ) is a Spanish actress .
Life
Abril began her film career in 1975 in Spain as a teenager. She made numerous films in France and Italy . The multiple award-winning actress is considered one of the best actresses in Europe, so she was awarded the Silver Bear at the 1991 Berlinale and the Berlinale Camera for her services to the Berlinale in 1993 . Between 1987 and 2002 she was nominated eight times for the Goya as best actress and received the award in 1996. In addition to her work as an actress, she also appeared on Spanish television as a presenter of quiz programs, especially in the 1970s.
After she released a few singles in Spain in the 1970s, her first music album Putcheros do Brasil followed in 2005 , on which she interprets Spanish and French chansons.
She has been married twice and has two sons with her current partner, Gérard de Battista .
