The Sigatoka River

Sigatoka [ ˌsiŋaˈtoka ] (also: Singatoka) is a city on the island of Viti Levu , which belongs to the Fiji islands. It is located in the southwestern part of the island and is traversed by the Sigatoka River . The river gave the city its name. At the 2007 census, the city had a population of around 9,622.

Sigatoka is the home of the Nadroga FC football club, founded in 1938 .
