The Western Division is one of Fiji's four divisions . It unites the provinces of Ba , Nadroga-Navosa and Ra .

The capital of the division is Lautoka , the sphere of influence of the Western Division is the western part of the largest island of Fiji, Viti Levu and some smaller islands ( Yasawa Islands , Viwa , Waya and Velulele ). The division also has a land border with the Central Division on Viti Levu and a sea border with the Northern Division and the Eastern Division .

In the 2007 census, the population of the division was 319,611 people, half of which consisted of iTaukei (indigenous Fijians) and Fiji Indians .
