Christine Willes

Christine Willes is a Canadian actress .

Life

Willes began her career at the Vancouver theater. In 1983 she was first nominated for the Jessie Richardson Theater Award , which she won in 1986 for outstanding performance in a musical. She is known to the television audience primarily for her recurring guest roles in numerous television series. Between 1995 and 1997 she was agent Karen E. Kosseff in the X-Files - The Scary Cases of the FBI , from 1998 to 1999 she played Mrs. Gotteramerding in Liebling, I Shrunk the Children, and from 2010 to 2011 she put Granny Goodness in the series Smallville is and from 2012 to 2013, she starred in eight episodes of hospital drama Emily Owens one of the nurses. However, she had her best-known television roles in Dead Like Me , where she played Delores Herbig in 26 episodes , and in Reaper - A devilish job as a demon Gladys . She has also had a number of feature film roles, including Sucker Punch , The Wicker Man and Red Riding Hood - Under the Wolf Moon .

In addition to her work as an actress, Willes also works as an acting teacher. She holds a BA in Acting, a Bachelor of Education and a Masters in Theater Studies and teaches at Trinity Western University . She is also on the board of directors of the Canadian actors' union ACTRA .
