Emily Owens (Original title: Emily Owens, MD , formerly First Cut ) is an American television series about the assistant doctor Emily Owens, who finds that everyday life in the hospital takes place according to the same rules and pecking orders that you already know from school are.
On May 11, 2012, the broadcaster The CW officially ordered the series. Due to low audience ratings, the series was canceled after 13 episodes.

Emily Owens begins training at Denver Memorial Hospital and wants to leave her old life as a high school geek behind. But I have to realize that the daily routine of a doctor is the same as a high school day. Still, she finds friends in Tyra and Micah and has an immortal crush on Will, her crush from medical school. But Will prefers to start an affair with Cassandra, Emily's high school archenemy.
