action

The police inspectors Batic and Leitmayr get a young colleague at their side with the police candidate Julia Winters. On a trip to a joint training session, they are called by radio about a vehicle fire. Arriving at the scene of the fire, a run-down farm, they find a body in the burning car. Shortly afterwards, they meet a man in a barn who threatens the police with a gun while he is chasing them and fires several shots at them. Leitmayr then shoots the man three times in self-defense and injures him life-threateningly.

In the course of the investigation it turns out that it is the son of Leitmayr's neighbors, Siggi Aumeister. In addition to the investigation into the case of the corpse from the car, the internal investigation is also investigating Leitmayr because of the fire . As it turns out, that the injured Aumeister only a revolver - replica has used Leitmayr comes under strong pressure. The investigation reveals that the body in the car is a young woman who can be identified by the investigators as Adriana Kaminski. From her roommate and photos found in Siggi Aumeister's apartment, it can be determined that the two were a couple. The roommate also reports on a man who is said to have been in her apartment.

In addition to the stranger, the injured man's brother is also in the sights of the investigation, as he does not want to have recognized Adriana in the photos. When asked again, Markus Aumeister finally admits to knowing Adriana, a colleague from the hardware store. Through his statements, the commissioners are also aware of a robbery on the hardware store last week. Adriana was also present at this, who was then very frightened and no longer came to work. In the course of further investigations, it emerges that the unknown man is Wolf, a criminal with several criminal records and training colleague of Siggi Aumeister - the commissioners therefore suspect that Siggi Aumeister and Wolf were involved. In the meantime, Siggi succumbs to his injuries. When the inspectors visit Wolf at his place of work, he tries to escape. He knocks down Batic and takes his service weapon. When Wolf then points it at Leitmayr, he is overwhelmed by Julia Winters before he can fire a shot.

During the interrogation of Wolf, the latter admits the joint attack on the hardware store. He also claims to have threatened Adriana in order to get his share of the booty with which Siggi Aumeister disappeared; but he denies killing Adriana. Further investigations reveal that Siggi robbed his brother's hardware store in order to use the money to prevent the bankruptcy of his parents' store. But he was recognized by his girlfriend. Since she wanted to turn to the police, she was hit by Siggi's mother. Thereupon Siggi put Adriana in the car, set it on fire and wanted to be shot by the police deliberately in order to divert suspicion from his mother.

Reviews

“Not a thread of tension is lost in this Munich crime scene, which is well worth seeing. Every promise is kept. No person sinks into the action hole. "

“Leitmayr under pressure. He shot - at a man with a replica revolver. The dead is a neighbor of his. The internal investigator becomes uncomfortable. This “crime scene”, which revolves around the psychology of the professional, is dramaturgically oriented more towards American models than German models. A twofold drama is told: from the commissioner, who is no longer the same, from the petty-bourgeois, tragically entangled victim family. Dense script, short dialogues, precise direction. All film trades remarkably good! "
