Marielle Gallo (born May 19, 1949 in Lons-le-Saunier ) is a French politician ( La Gauche modern , EPP ).

After the degree in general private law at the University of Paris I and the entrance examination to the profession of lawyer was Gallo member of the Bar Association of Paris .

Gallo has been a member of the La Gauche modern party since it was founded in 2007. In 2008 she was elected to the party executive committee, in 2009 she became party spokeswoman. In the same year she was elected to the European Parliament in the constituency of Île-de-France .

Gallo wrote several novels under the pseudonym Marielle Gallet.
