occupation

Once a day there is a television film from the crime series Tatort . The report produced by Bayerischer Rundfunk was first broadcast on October 29, 2000 in the first program of ARD . The Munich investigator duo Batic and Leitmayr is investigating its 27th case. It's about the murder of the star of a television series .

action

He just can't manage to turn off the life support measures of his lover Clarissa: “I'm sorry. See you tomorrow. ”A short time later, a young couple step into the room and she persuades him to turn off the devices for a“ reward ”. He stumbles clumsily over the laid cables. Cut! - and that for the repeated time. When leaving the set, the noble savior and star of the soap opera Total Life , Peter Burkhardt, is expected by a screaming fan base from Sindelfingen . A young girl leaves a special impression with the poetry album entry “I'm looking forward to afterwards.” On the other hand, the gaunt actor Tobias Helberg leaves the filming location disappointed and finds a blackmail letter for 10,000 marks in his car. Producer Scheffler and press spokeswoman Sassner are appalled by the falling audience. That doesn't stop Carlo Menzinger from pursuing his current passion for Total life in the office , as his computer has a FireWire connection. The young girl with the poetry album appears in front of Peter Burkhardt's window in the evening and watches him shower. A short time later he is found dead by a night watchman in Hall 6, the soap location.

The producer Scheffler and his crew are affected by the death of their star and at a loss as to how to proceed. When the two inspectors, together with the property manager, investigate possible irregularities at the crime scene again, a thin person with a hoodie and backpack draws attention to himself. It's about the girl with the poetry album, the student Bettina Faber. She collapses when she learns of Peter Burkhardt's death. In Burkhardt's classically furnished apartment, Batic and Leitmayr find an identical ransom note that Tobias Helberg had found in his car. There is also a message from Bettina Faber on his answering machine. Her mother can hardly hide her horror at the news of death, because she got very close to him in private.

Meanwhile, the “Intriganten-Stadl” takes on bizarre forms: each of the protagonists has a corpse in the cellar - from the gay partner to sex with minors to soft porn production. So it stands to reason that soap fan Carlo mingles with the extras as an undercover agent. Bettina Faber shows Leitmayr a secret entrance to production hall 6, and Carlo discovers Michael Broda writing ransom letters. He gives the inspectors a video that shows Carola Faber and Peter Burkhardt making love in the decoration. But Burkhardt was also entrepreneurially active and was about to take over production from Total , which brought Alexander Scheffler to work. After a brief denial, he confesses to the manslaughter.

Reviews

The critics of the TV magazine TV Spielfilm gave the best possible rating (thumbs up) and wrote: “Good times for fans of really poisonous satire”.

The critic at kino.de writes: (...) “Similarities with long-running hits like“ Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten ”are by no means coincidental, as the illustrious figures alone prove: The actress in the serial beast is also privately scheming, the producer has long been broke (... ) All of this is only surpassed by the lady responsible for public relations, who unscrupulously pulls the strings in the background; Their tools include bogus fan mail as well as blackmail. In a nutshell: If you can't stand daily soaps with all your heart, you've come to the right place at the new “Tatort” from Munich.
