Jörg Schneider (director)
Jörg Schneider (born March 24, 1961 in Munich ) is a German film director and cameraman.
Life
Jörg Schneider's film career began with an internship at the film equipment rental company “Schmidle & Fitz”; He then worked 11 years as a camera assistant , then 12 years as a cameraman and since October 2002 as a director . He has been married since 1988 and has three children.
Schneider is the son of the cameraman and director Wolf Schneider and the grandson of the painter , writer , screenwriter and director Richard Schneider-Edenkoben .
He was awarded the 2013 Culture Prize from his home district of Dingolfing-Landau .
