action
When Anna, the wife of the heart surgeon Dr. Benjamin Hofer, who dies when their daughter is born, he develops into a real disgust for the people around him. He lets go of his frustration especially with the childcare worker Julia who is employed by him. Nevertheless, the pretty Julia succeeds in discovering a soft core under the hard shell of the professional surgeon. In the end, he even falls so deeply in love with her that he hands over a complicated heart transplant to a colleague, because although he has always called it incompetent in the past, he basically always knew that his colleague was competent enough, including complicated transplants perform.
The plot develops lovingly and dramatically when Benjamin exceeds his competencies and takes over an ambulance and instructs the driver to drive to the airport with the Martinhorn switched on. There he catches Julia just in time, who has already checked in there for the departure to Manila and is already sitting in the plane ready for departure. When he was told that he was a doctor, he passed the control, the departure was canceled and Benjamin sat down next to Julia on the plane.
The plot ends when he confesses his love to Julia and the two kiss.

criticism
TV Spielfilm judges with a thumbs up (best film rating): “The recipe for comedy success is not really new: An emotionally braked puke is re-educated to be a do-gooder. Nevertheless, Gerat, here just out of the "Bravo TV" presenter age, and the terrifyingly authentic Tidof interact so well that the grotesque relationship is not lacking in laughter ”. The summary of the program magazine is: "A disgusting package that provides good entertainment".
The lexicon of international films gives a factually neutral assessment: "(TV) romantic comedy in the usual shallow waters."
