Alexander Duda (born March 1, 1955 in Munich ) is a German theater director , voice actor , theater and folk actor .

Life

From 1975 to 1978 Duda studied acting at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich. During his studies he already played in the BR three-part Sachrang . From 1988 to 1992 he portrayed Adolf Grandauer in the series Löwengrube , also produced by BR . Since 2006 he has played police director Gert Achtziger in the ZDF early evening series The Rosenheim Cops . Since then he has been part of the regular cast of the series.

Alexander Duda is more involved in the theater than in television: he writes, directs and plays with his own troupe. He played in numerous pieces at the Munich Volkstheater . Among other things, he played the role of Brandner Kaspar in Kurt Wilhelm's comedy Der Brandner Kaspar und das Eternal 'Leben .

Alexander Duda is married to the actress Jutta Schmuttermaier . He is the son of Gernot Duda and the brother of Solveig Duda .
