Mark Lewis Jones (born 1964 in Rhosllannerchrugog , Wales ) is a British actor .

life and career

Mark Lewis Jones was born and raised in Rhosllanerchrugog. He had his first acting experience as a teenager at the Clwyd Youth Theater. He then completed his acting training at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama .

In 1985 he made his first television appearance in Space Cracks . Further film and television appearances followed. In 2009, Mark Lewis Jones appeared in A Child's Christmases . In 2012 he received a BAFTA Cymry Award nomination for best actor for his portrayal of Pete in Baker Boys . In 2013 he played the warrior Aethulwulf in the film The Blood of the Vikings .

In 2014, Mark Lewis Jones took part in the Marathon des Sables (MDS) with actor Richard Harrington . He was accompanied by a film team that shot a documentary for the television station S4C . In addition, the marathon raised funds for a blood cancer charity and for leukemia and lymphoma research. In addition to his appearances in film and television, Mark Lewis Jones can also be seen in the theater.
