Michael Fitz (actor)
Michael Fitz (born November 13, 1958 in Munich ) is a German actor and musician .
Life
Michael Fitz comes from the well-known Munich artist family Fitz . His father was the popular actor Gerd Fitz ; he is the nephew of Veronika Fitz and the cousin of Lisa Fitz and Ariela Bogenberger . Florian David Fitz is his second cousin. Fitz lives with his wife and their son southeast of Munich.
Fitz has played in numerous television productions since 1977. He achieved nationwide popularity in the ARD crime series Tatort as Criminal Superintendent Carlo Menzinger, whom he held from 1992 to 2007 and again in 2013 in the episode “ Power and Powerlessness ” alongside Miroslav Nemec (as Ivo Batic ) and Udo Wachtveitl (as Franz Leitmayr ) embodied, see Batic and Leitmayr .
Since 1984 Fitz has also been successful as a musician, singer and audio book speaker. He released 14 CDs.
