Fitz (family)

The Fitz family is a Munich artist family.

The artist family Fitz was founded through the marriage of the actor and playwright Hans Fitz to the opera singer Ilse, nee. Heirich. She was the daughter of Carl Heirich and Hermine Knote , who in turn was the daughter of Gustav Knote senior. (1838–1879) and his wife Emma , née von der Nahmer . Hermione's brother Heinrich Knote was a royal Bavarian chamber singer . Another brother Gustav Knote jun. was director of Allianz insurance . The Hermine line is related , among other things, to Oskar von Miller , the founder of the Deutsches Museum .
