Walter Fitz
Walter Fitz (born October 31, 1921 in Kaiserslautern ; † December 21, 1992 in Munich ) was a German pop singer , composer and Bavarian folk actor .
Life
At the beginning of his career, Walter Fitz performed with his wife Molly and his brother Gerd for 25 years as a Trio Fitzett in German-speaking countries. Television only discovered him when he was now 60 years old. Walter Fitz played in Josef Filser and the crime series Tatort as well as in the series Zur Freiheit and Our most beautiful years . In the series Löwengrube he was the father Soleder at the side of Franziska Stömmer . He became known nationwide as the actor of the former Bavarian Prime Minister Franz Josef Strauss at the annual strong beer tapping on the Nockherberg in Munich.
Walter Fitz comes from the large Munich artist family Fitz and was married to Molly Fitz-Raffay. Both daughters are the cabaret artist Lisa Fitz . He died in Munich in 1992 and was buried in the Krailling cemetery.
