Sophie Melbinger (born November 10, 1985 in Munich ) is a German actress .

life and career

Sophie Melbinger grew up in Munich. Since 2011 she has been studying acting at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg . During her studies she played at the Landestheater Salzburg ("Bildstören.", Directed by Astrid Großgasteiger), at the Residenztheater in Munich ("Die Ratten", directed by Yannis Houvardas) and at the Landungsbrücken Frankfurt ("Glaube Liebe Hoffnung", directed by Tim Egloff ). In the 2013/14 season she was a member of the ensemble of the drama studio at the German National Theater in Weimar .

She was also seen in various film and television productions. In 2010 she played - alongside Hannelore Elsner and Götz George - a role in the television film Lüg weiter, Liebling . In the same year she had a role in the crime scene episode The Sad King . In 2012 she played in the ARD - telenovela Sturm der Liebe the role of Daniela Wiegand .
